HQ for Action is made by R.J. Nestor

I've spent twenty years helping people say what they mean to say and do what they mean to do. I'm a productivity consultant, I founded Action-Powered Productivity, and I wrote The Rhythms of Productivity. I teach courses, I run live sessions, and I work with people one at a time.

For most of those twenty years I built productivity systems inside other people's apps. The spirit was always "you can do whatever you want," and the reality was always whatever the app allowed. About a year ago that stopped being necessary, so I stopped building in apps and built HQ instead.

What HQ for Action is

HQ is the environment you share with Claude for working and thinking: your tasks, projects, calendar, people, and notes, kept as plain files in one folder on your own computer, with Claude working inside them. It isn't a service you log into and it isn't a place we store your work. It installs on your machine and it stays there.

It runs my own work and my own life today. That's the only reason I'm comfortable selling it.

What this site is

hqforaction.com is the home page for HQ for Action: what it is, what it costs, and where to buy it. The purchase itself happens on Gumroad, which handles payment and receipts. This site doesn't take payments and doesn't ask you to make an account.
